an update...
My life has been pretty much consumed with homework and studying the past week or so. I also attended an extra credit lecture that actually turned out to be quite interesting. The guest speaker was Michael Shermer (http://www.michaelshermer.com/) and he had a lot of ideas and theories that I suspect are very controversial. Check out his website if you care.... just more of the stuff he lectured about:
Tomorrow's lab class will have a new and much needed change of scenery. We'll be meeting up at Sunset Beach and observing the oceanic life along with the rock and sand formations. Maybe afterwards I'll jump onto PCH, head towards Huntington and observe a couple margaritas and fish tacos! (calorie free of course)
Just finished up with the math test that I've been studying like a dog for the past 3 weeks or so. I feel good about it but you just never know. This professor is really tough and picks on everything! (and no, the professor is not my mother)
Steve's been working a lot still. Although he does get a break on Thursday nights when Dougie Fresh and Ajay come over for the weekly bike/skate night. They turn into 15 yr old boys again and run ammuck around the streets of Orange County. He comes home refreshed (and smelling oddly of beer and cigarettes) but you got to give it to him. When you work hard, you gotta play hard too I guess ;)
Shae Shae is doing wonderful. Same sweet baby boy (I can say that now because he's taking a nap!). He's starting to talk a lot more (in his own language, of course) and his favorite thing is trying to make us laugh =)
Kaia has dance class tonight at 5:30. We'll be trying out

So, haven't posted in a while. I've had a bunch of tests in different classes this week so I've been pretty busy studying. I just got a letter from Cal State Dominguez Hills and I've been accepted for the fall semester! Which basically means if Long Beach and Fullerton don't accept me, I'll be making the long drive to Dominguez for a while! (Hopefully not toooo long). Steve's been working a lot of overtime and by the time he gets home I'm either at school already or out the door, on my way to class or Kaia's dance class. The kids are both feeling a little under the weather but are still they're normal cheery selves. Here's a picture of Shaedon at breakfast time with sleepy eyes. Still happy as ever though =)
And Auntie Sam decided to clean out her room and gave Kaia some "new" jewelry to play with. She was busy for hours!!
Another exciting thing going on here at the house is the Bridal Shower Invitation Factory!!! Amanda's bridal shower is coming up so I had everyone helping me make the invites. Here's my poor, tired, husband being assigned to flower cut out duty. What a sweetheart!! We love you Manda!!
