an update...
My life has been pretty much consumed with homework and studying the past week or so. I also attended an extra credit lecture that actually turned out to be quite interesting. The guest speaker was Michael Shermer (http://www.michaelshermer.com/) and he had a lot of ideas and theories that I suspect are very controversial. Check out his website if you care.... just more of the stuff he lectured about:
Tomorrow's lab class will have a new and much needed change of scenery. We'll be meeting up at Sunset Beach and observing the oceanic life along with the rock and sand formations. Maybe afterwards I'll jump onto PCH, head towards Huntington and observe a couple margaritas and fish tacos! (calorie free of course)
Just finished up with the math test that I've been studying like a dog for the past 3 weeks or so. I feel good about it but you just never know. This professor is really tough and picks on everything! (and no, the professor is not my mother)
Steve's been working a lot still. Although he does get a break on Thursday nights when Dougie Fresh and Ajay come over for the weekly bike/skate night. They turn into 15 yr old boys again and run ammuck around the streets of Orange County. He comes home refreshed (and smelling oddly of beer and cigarettes) but you got to give it to him. When you work hard, you gotta play hard too I guess ;)
Shae Shae is doing wonderful. Same sweet baby boy (I can say that now because he's taking a nap!). He's starting to talk a lot more (in his own language, of course) and his favorite thing is trying to make us laugh =)
Kaia has dance class tonight at 5:30. We'll be trying out
