Party Time!

ShaeShae's birthday turned out great!! We all had so much fun, and with everyone's help.. Steve and I survived Shaedon't 1st birthday!!! After us and Dad worked on the backyard all week (thanks to the rain- we had a massive weeds situation!!!) it turned out lookin pretty good. The backyard was fully exposed thanks to our decision to forego the bounce house. And no matter what we do- the party always ends up in the front yard. We started setting up super early and did all of last minute errands. Janelle came by in the morning to help set up and bring over the cake (giant cupcake)!! all the decorations went up. all we had to do was wait for mom and nixon with the 6ft sandwiches and it seemed like the party was on from there!!



I made a couple collages since there were too many good pics to choose from. Having Cory there with his camera was like hiring a birthday photographer!! Thank you Cory!!

Shaedon Ollie is ONE YEAR OLD!!! We had a little party at the house last night to celebrate!! The family came over and ate pizza, pick up stix (odd combo, I know) and had cake!! Here are a few pictures of the festivities. Oh, and my camera died right at as Shae was about to devour his cake.... so if anyone has good shots of the night from that point on, PLEASE email them to me!!!

Valentine's Day

We woke up to a table full of Valentine surprises and the girls headed to starbucks (in our PJ's of course). When we got home we picked up the boys and went straight to the Orange County Swap Meet. Hubby got me the cutest purse (and filled it with goodies later). Then we came home and played outside with the kids and thier skateboards!!! Valentine's Day...







...pretty much my favorite day of the year. (okay, well one of them). We go to the same restaurant every year. "Pasta Al Dente" in Belmont. It's a cute little place with great food. They also take a Valentine's Day polaroid of you and your date and you get to take it home in a cute little frame!! If I had a working scanner I would post all the polaroids from the years past. Anyway... here are a few pictures of our Valentine's Day this year.

A Day at the Dentist

Kaia had her first visit to the dentist today. I've been trying to mentally prepare her for the last couple months and I felt she was finally ready. We made an appt for her and cousin Ethan (an old pro) so they could go together and Kaia would have moral support. It seemed to work out well. She got her teeth cleaned and only shed a few tears at the very end. I think she was just tired of the people all up in her mouth!! No cavities!! YAY...






She had just got done crying when I took this one. Poor baby looks swollen!! What a trooper!!

Kaia's Hair

I found the cutest heart hairstyle for Kaia's hair today. (click the button on the right side of my page to see where I find all of the cute hair ideas!) Also very exciting... we went to her first DENTIST appt. She did so well!! She got her teeth cleaned and she was very "braythe" (brave). Here's a picture of her at the dentist and then a couple of shots of her head from the top. Two very precious hearts tied together with a pink bow. We love Valentine's Day!!!

We celebrated Steve's dad's birthday on Sunday and my mom's birthday on Monday. Here are a few shots of us at Steve's parents house partying it up for Frank's birthday!




I would also have pictures of mom's birthday but I forgot my camera that night and Janelle is really lagging on sending hers over to me!!! I do have a few from my phone but can't quite figure out how to post them yet. If I do... you'll see them soon!

Playing with Jaelle

we were lucky enough to spend a couple days with Jaelle.. the newest baby girl in the fam!!! Her and Shae got along so well and even napped at the same times!!! (thank goodness) Here are some pictures of the kids today and yesterday...

We took the kids to their annual Valentine's Day photo shoot. Well, I guess technically this is Shae's first time, but Kaia's an old pro!! Here are a few of the shots...
