i ♥ youtube

so youtube is my new passion... you can find anything in the world on there. tutorials are my latest obsession. i've learned how to curl hair a million different ways and apply eye shadow like a pro. i've even watched a "how to" on false eyelashes... might be trying those out soon so look out world! anyway.. tried a new curling technique out on kaia's hair today. we're trying to prepare for the big day tomorrow... amanda's wedding yes, but more importantly- kaia's flowergirl performance!!! (you know i'm kidding amanda!)so here's a picture of my little sweetheart today. we got our nails done after we did her hair so she got to feel like a princess all morning. here she is in all her glory...

i also learned how to cut my own bangs on youtube so here i am with my new do...

yeah riiiiiiight!! i learned how to "fake the fringe" and create the illusion of fringe bangs!! hahaaaaa...
(sorry for the bad lighting in the picture... i didn't have any make up on so i had to enhance the photo. it's bad...really bad)

and i think shaeshae might have been feeling left out and wanted to make sure that he made an appearance in mom's hair blog. he got a hold of big sister's head band and was trying desperately to get it onto his big baby head. now, he's been mistaken for a baby girl at least 3 times (and once again while out with grandma denise i heard) and i could never understand why... but look how beautiful he is. he could just as easily have been shaeLYN! check out the lashes!!

weekend apart

So, a couple weeks ago- hubby and I were fortunate enough to know two great people who invited us each out on a weekend extravaganza...about 300 miles apart!! Steve went with the bachelor (+20, oh the testosterone!) down to San Diego, while the soon to be bride headed out to Havasu with her girls!! Both trips went rather well and will definitely go down in the memory books. Many more trips to come... hopefully all together next time. Here are a few shots of the girls weekend. The boys weekend is quite a mystery and, needless to say, hubby came home with NO incriminating pictures!!
